The space
Please note that this building is brand-new and that they are still doing the final work such as painting and cleaning the common areas.

This is a very unique and newly built (Feb 2024) 1-bed / 2-bath apartment with a big private jacuzzi terrace. It is located in one of the best short term rental buildings that Cali has to offer, a brand new project called Riomaggiore in the Santa Teresita neighborhood.

The total size of the space including the terrace is 84 m2 / 903 sqft.

BEDROOM

The bedroom has a nice queen size bed and direct access to bathroom and walk-in closet. It has air conditioning and a SmartTV that connects to all the streaming apps. In front of the bed we've placed a desk with a comfortable chair if any work needs to be taken care of during your visit. The blackout curtain can keep sunlight out and assure a good night's sleep.
There is a safe for your personal belongings and an iron plus ironing board available.

JACUZZI TERRACE

The outdoors jacuzzi terrace for this apartment is truly special and generous in size and is the perfect place to soak in the warm Cali climate, read a book, chill in the hot tub or just enjoy the company of someone you like over snacks and drinks.

A full bathroom connects to the terrace meaning you do not have to go through the bedroom when wet from the jacuzzi.

KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM

The kitchen is fully outfitted including fridge, oven, stove, microwave, blender and cooking utensils. It has a couple of bar chairs for your to keep the chef entertained and also a service window to easily supply the terrace.

Our vintage style living room features a premium Chesterfield couch, a couple of chairs and the highlight being a 100+ year old samurai outfit that was acquired from a family of Japanese immigrants when they retired and closed their restaurant in Cali after many years of operation.
We invite you to admire its beauty but please be careful with it and don't try to open the cabinet. Thank you!

AMENITIES

The WiFi is a 200 MB fiber optic connection with access to ethernet ports.

We have free parking on site in the basement with elevator access.

Cleaning can offered during your stay and comes at an additional cost.

The pool is on the 4th floor of the building. Pool hours are 8 am to 9 pm. The pool is closed for maintenance on Mondays. If Monday is a holiday, then it will be closed on Tuesdays.

The building has an electric backup generator and a water reserve tank making sure you will not be without basic utilities.
Guest access
Once you rent the apartment, the whole place is yours. You are welcome to have people visit you but please respect the house rules at all times and remember that all guests must be registered with the building's security guard.
Additional notes
Registration:
According to Colombian law, a photo ID must be presented for every person staying at the property. A signed rental agreement is required prior to entry.

Medical tourists:
Please inform If you are getting any medical procedure done while staying at our property. Damages to bedsheets and towels will be charged.

No Airbnb Service fee:
Book safely and pay 0% Airbnb service fee on our exclusive properties, while still getting the full Aircover support.

Airport pick-ups:
Let us know if you need help with airport transportation. We work with several top rated drivers and would be happy to arrange. They will wait for you, help with luggage and allow for one 15-minute stop on the way to a supermarket, ATM, etc. They know the exact location of the property making sure you won’t get lost.

Factura electrónica:
We issue a legal electronic invoice for the amount monetized in Colombia (after Airbnb commissions). This complies with all the local regulation if you need to deduct your stay as a business expense.

Housekeeping & Laundry:
Housekeeping and laundry services are not included with the stay. However they can be arranged at an additional cost and a full one days notice. Laundry is $40.000 COP per load (up to 10 kg). It includes pick-up at the apartment by our staff, washing, drying, folding and delivery back to you.
Housekeeping is $60.000 COP per assigned day.

Interruption in utilities:
This is the tropics and utilities such as electricity, water supply, and internet can experience interruptions from time to time. These potential situations are completely out of our control and are not cause for any refund. Luckily the building has a back-up water tank and electric plant for emergencies.

Guest interaction
We have our office nearby and our housekeeping and maintenance frequent the building on a daily basis. You will see them in the EXSTR uniforms. Our main priority is to ensure a great stay for you, so we are happy to help with any questions you may have about the city and surroundings.
At night we have an emergency line where you can call our office if you should ever have any issues.
Neighborhood overview
The Santa Teresita residential neighborhood is located in one of the best parts of town near the Cali Zoo and bordering the El Peñon hotel and gastronomic zone.

Within a few blocks you will find the Super A supermarket with the Baraka Ancestral Bakery on top. Also nearby is the El Molino is a another local favorite, the El Molino Bakery and Calathea Ice Cream shop.

Crepes and Waffles is the perfect family restaurant and just two blocks away by the Hampton by Hilton hotel.

The Tertulia museum and Cali's famous Cat parks are only 10 minute walk from the building and once you make it there you might as well keep following the river to the Boulevard and the beautiful Ermita church.

Colonial San Antonio is located behind the hotel Intercontinental. In conclusion, there's plenty of things of interest to keep busy for days in this part of town.
Getting around
During the day, I suggest walking wherever possible. Enjoy the warm, eternal summer climate. Get to know the city. Explore!
If you're going further, then there are more than 20.000 taxis in Cali and they are very affordable. Minimum fare starts at 4.000 pesos. Uber, Cabify, Beat, WayCali and Didi are other similar services. Busses are plentiful but then to get very crowded.

At night, best to use a taxi / Uber / Didi.
